Our inn guests may enjoy activities that include swimming in Lake Huron and relaxing on its sandy beach; taking short walks to our local shops and restaurants, or venturing out to the nearby golf courses. Canoeists and rafters come for the day trips - kayaks and tubing are also very popular on the AuSable River and many canoeists take overnight canoe trips in the summer.

Fisherman of all ages enjoy testing their fishing skills on the AuSable River - one of the finest trout streams in the Midwest with a 22 mile stretch of river below the Foote Dam that is designated as a quality fishing area for flies and artificial lures. The backwaters above Foote Dam provide excellent pan fishing and the fishing ponds resort always guarantee a catch. Hunters, morel mushroom hunters and bird watchers find the AuSable River Valley a convenient place to stay, particularly when they can hike to their favorite spots in the Huron National Forest. Cross country skiers, snowshoers and snowmobiles take advantage of our activities.
